  Volunteer Opportunities – There is still room for volunteers to help with the Christmas Parade this coming Saturday and the Broadway Bizarre next Saturday. Please sign up in the Career Center.  A fun way to earn Community Service.

Winterball is Saturday December 15th from 9-11pm in the RA Long Cafeteria. Winterball tickets will be on sale before school in the lobby starting December 3rd through December 7th. Tickets are $5 with ASB, $7 without ASB. Tickets will not be sold the week of or at the door for Winterball on December 15th.

Have you ever thought about being a Blacksmith? School Juniors and Seniors with interests in building trades and crafts, this is a great opportunity.   It is also an opportunity to earn two college credits as well.  The class will be offered in Stella Washington. Informational flyer available in the Career Center.

Hey Jacks! Key Club will be running a Food Drive for our very own Jack’s Pantry from Dec. 3 to Dec. 7 as a first period competition. The class that brings in the most donations by weight will earn Donuts the following Monday! Step up to fill our Pantry and support each other here at RA Long.

Auditions for the winter play, The Incident, will be held Monday, December 3rd from 6 to 9 pm.  The Incident is about a group of high school theatre students who find their lives changed and relationships tested when rumors are posted on an anonymous app. Please prepare a 30 second contemporary monologue. Open to all high school students.

Service to School – Tim the custodian is looking for volunteers to help clean up after winter sporting events in the Gym.  You will get in the event for free. You can earn Service to school on the clean-up of the gym.  Please sign up in the Career Center

 Winterball Dance passes are now available in the main office. If you are planning on bringing a guest from another school, you will need to turn in one of these passes by November 30th at 3pm.

11/19 – 11/30 Krispy Kreme donuts – The Sophomore and Freshman classes will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts for $1/piece each morning in the lobby. Mm… donuts. Teachers, if you would like to pre-order, contact Ms. Flinn.

Community Service – Cowlitz PUD’s Connect to Community Committee is looking for volunteers to help at the Annual “Home for the Holidays” Parade and the Civic Circle Lighting. The parade will be held Saturday, December 1st at 5 pm. Please sign up in the Career Center.
