Today is National Bouillabaisse Day!

 PSAT Testers…….Score reports are in. You can pick them up in the Guidance office.

Don’t forget MC Club members that we are having a white elephant exchange today.  Bring a wrapped gift, not more than $5, and drop it off in Mrs. Jacobs’ Room. Plan on having a good time by bring a white elephant gift to exchange.

There’s a new club in town. Hiking club. Our boots are tied and our Clif bars are packed, but we need some gas money. Here’s where you come in. For one dollar each, you can enter yourself in a raffle to bearddazzle Dr. Wallace on Dec. 21st with ornaments and color. See Tami in guidance to purchase tickets or get more information.

ReAL Teens Read Members

Remember to pick up your Advanced Reader Copy so that you can wrap it for our holiday party after school on Tuesday.  We will be doing a white elephant exchange of books.  See Mrs. Kruse on Monday if you have any questions.

Hot Chocolate -Well, the weather outside is frightful, cold, rainy, and windy. Beginning next week before school you can buy a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows for $1.00 and with a Candy Cane for $1.25.  Come to room 118 to warm your insides and lift your spirits. Buy hot chocolate from FBLA.

Key Club is having a Christmas Party and there will be board games, a Wii (maybe), and card games.

Job Applications – Carl’s Junior is opening a new restaurant in Longview and they are looking for new employees. You must be a good student and be 16 years old.  Applications are available in the Career Center. Please turn in your completed application back into the Career Center.

 

Community Service –On Saturday, December 15th about 6 students are needed to volunteer for the Stinky Shoe tournament.  It is for middle school students and will be held at Mark Morris high school. No knowledge of wrestling needed. This is an opportunity to get 6-8 hours of community service or school to service hours. Lunch will be provided. Sign up in the Career Center.

 

Need service to school points?  We are looking for students to run the clocks for the Boys C-Team Basketball games at Monticello.  Please see Jodi Fowler in the Career Center to sign up today.

 

Have you ever thought about being a Blacksmith? School Juniors and Seniors with interests in  building trades and crafts, this is a great opportunity.   It is also an opportunity to earn two college credits as well.  The class will be offered in Stella Washington. Informational flyer available in the Career Center.

 

Service to School – Tim the custodian is looking for volunteers to help clean up after winter sporting events in the Gym.  You will get in the event for free. You can earn Service to school on the clean-up of the gym.  Please sign up in the Career Center
