 The GSA (The Genders and Sexualities Alliance) –  will be meeting in Mrs. Martinez’s room (208) every Wednesday from 1:25 to 1:55. Our first meeting will be today, September 11th. Bring a friend! Hope to see you there!

 

The Dungeons and Dragons Club will meet every Wednesday afterschool to 3pm in Room 204. All levels welcomed, including new people.  Experienced DMs needed

 

SENIORS, are you considering a career in the Trades or possibly doing an Apprenticeship? If so, you can sign up in the Career Center to participate in the Apprenticeship and Trades   Fair.  This takes place on Sept. 20th at the Cowlitz Expo Center.  See Jodi in the Career Center for more info.

Interested in being a cheerleader for Winter season?   Parent informational meeting is tonight at 7pm.  Try-Out Clinics are Sept. 23rd and 25th, with try-outs being Sept. 30th.

 Jack Shack –Do you need service to school points?  Do you want to have fun getting to know other students while learning some great job skills?  Then come work in the Jack Shack! Stop in and see Sheila, at the jack Shack,  on your lunch break to get more details!   

 Volunteer Opportunity – Mt. Solo Middle School is looking for volunteers to help with Football and Volleyball games.  Please sign up in the Career Center.

The Kitchen is in need of student helpers for both lunches. Work involves assisting the lunch staff, serving lunches.  No food handlers card required. Earn school service points and a free lunch. This would be a great opportunity for seniors who need points before graduation. If you think you’re interested, come into the kitchen and talk to Laurie before school or during breakfast to get more details.

Responsible concession stand workers needed at Roy Morse Park on Saturdays through October 4 from 11am-4pm. Please see Mrs. Bergquist in room 114 if you are interested.

Extreme Theatre – is back and is happening this fall, October 4 and 5. This 24 hour event  puts students into teams to write, rehearse, act, tech, and perform short 10 minute plays. Some school service points and/or community service hours are available. Applications are due by September 17th so pick up yours today in the auditorium at R.A. Long!

Volunteer Opportunity – Mount St. Helens Visitor Center and Seaquest Park is looking for volunteers to get ready for the 40th Anniversary of the Eruption.  Please sign up in the Career Center.
