Congratulations!

Good job last night against W.F. West, boys soccer players. JV lost 1-2, with a goal from Julio Radillo. Varsity won 5-1, with a goal from Brady Anderson, Manny Alvarez, and Brian Lopez, and two goals from Amilyonno Puc. Anderson, Puc, and Andrew Casillas also tallied assists. Boys soccer plays again at Fort Vancouver on Friday night. Go Jacks!

Purchase a pot of gold to send to your friends for St. Patrick’s day by making a purchase during both lunches in the front of school for $1 through Wednesday March 13th. Pots of Gold will be delivered during 6th period on Friday March 15th.”

How far is too far with anonymous posting on the internet? The Incident, our fall play, grapples with that question.  The Incident opens Friday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. and continues March 2, 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10th. Be warned: mature themes and language. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door or from your favorite cast member.

 

Auditions for Mainstage Theatre’s spring play, Shakespeare’s As You Like It will be held Monday, March 4th from 6-9 p.m. in the auditorium. Please prepare a 30 second Shakespeare monologue.  All cast members must be passing or making good progress toward passing in order to participate, so bring a copy of your grades and/or notes from your teachers.

Boys’ soccer players: tryouts begin today in the soccer team room. Be dressed down and ready at 3:00. In order to participate, you must have all applicable equipment, a valid physical, and be signed up on Family ID. No exceptions.

Baseball Tryouts – Start today, 2/25 Practice begins at 2:45 daily at the Lumberyard. Bring glove, bat, cleats, running shoes, and dress warm.

Track practice begins today at 3:00 at the stadium. Make sure you are signed up on Family ID and have a current a physical on file in the ASB office.
