Scholarships
The R. A. Long Scholarship Committee consists of 15+ members of staff and alumni.
During the month of February, the Committee Chair Person opens the master application to all Seniors. Beginning in March, the committee meets regularly to review applications received and match recipients to each award based on the donors criteria and wishes.
All awards listed on this page are presented to the RA Long graduating senior class in a formal ceremony in May. The event is livestreamed, as well as in-person in our very own Mainstage Theatre. It is with great pleasure that we, the RA Long Scholarship Committee, along with several members of our community have the opportunity to present our graduating seniors with these prestigious awards each year.
The R.A. Long Scholarship Committee is proud to award 50+ annual scholarships to graduating seniors!
Through partnerships with alumni, community members and organizations, the committee awards up to $200,000 per year.
