Hybrid Learning at R.A. Long

For safety reasons some hallways at R.A. Long are now designated for one way walking traffic. When you see this sign, please move in the direction indicated on the sign. 

Students at R.A. Long will need to take the wellness check and get their temperatures taken at the wellness check stations.

• Complete Wellness Check in Skyward prior to coming to school
• Bring your student ID card and Chromebook every day 
• Go to one of the four Check-in stations 
• ID/Chromebook will be scanned
• Temperature will be taken 
• Bracelet will be given after passing wellness check 
• Wear your mask over your nose and mouth at all times 
• Physically distance at all times 
• Sanitize hands

• Four days of "new" and/or continuous learning each week for all students. 
• "At home" students can be part of the class dialogue as seen fit by the teacher through Zoom or Zoom Webinar. 
• Students must log on at the beginning of each period, all 6 periods when at home, for attendance and "new" learning, until released by the teacher. 
• Teachers will connect LIVE with "full-remote" students once a week on Wednesdays during class time. Hybrid students may also join for student support. 
• Advisory will remain a LIVE Zoom class on Wednesdays. 
• Grading will continue to be the same. 
• Google classroom will continue to be the platform for our LMS (Learning Management System). 

• Students will be entering the building at an attestation site and will be temperature checked, review attestation, and receive a wristband to enter the building. 
• Students will attend all 6 periods on site on their A(A-K)day - M/TH or B(L-Z) Tues/F days. 
• Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Students will be provided a safe distance spacing to eat "unmasked." 
• Students must adhere to all MASK rules when in classrooms or hallways. Those who do not, will be sent home. 
• Social Distancing as required.
• Follow "one way" hallway flow directions as presented. 
• Desks WILL BE cleaned every period in classrooms and between each lunch. 
• Hands sanitized "before" and "after" class. 
• Bring your own personal supplies and WATER BOTTLES. Water fountains are closed at this time.
