R.A. Long High School Weekly Update

I know things are hard. I know things are not normal. I know that we all wish we could be at school. I know, we miss you guys too!
But what we need from you is to stay strong, step up, and be the very best version of you each and every day. We need you to get up, log on, try your very best to complete everything your teachers are sending out to you.
Please don't make excuses. All of us wish things were different, or NORMAL, but they aren't.
We can't give you credit for things you didn't do. Credits are earned by doing the work and engaging with your teachers. Log on, listen, and submit your work. This situation we are in is not forever. We need to attack it with our best intentions in mind. We really believe in you.
RA Long students have ALWAYS stepped up when things were tough.
But, if you don't engage now, the journey to graduation will be that much harder if you have to finish current courses and the courses you will have to make up you don't complete them in good standing this semester.
We know you can do hard things. This is hard. You have it in you to get it done!

Hybrid Return Postponed "until further notice"
- Jack Camp for Freshmen and New students POSTPONED- new dates to be determined
- Pictures are scheduled for January 11th and 12th if we are back on campus.
- Engage with your teachers and please get your work turned in. Your grades are dependent on the work you have completed at an acceptable level. You WILL NOT receive credit for NOT doing the work.
- If you need a work space to work at school to get things done, contact your teachers or me directly at rreeves@longview.k12.wa.us and we can find you a space to work.
